Industrial Construction Manager
Job Type :
12 months contract (potential to extend)
Overtime :
up to 30hrs a month (Weekend Work = YES during peak project times, however the weekend work would be on a rotation basics.
Required
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction environment, with previous history in project management / supervision of large-scale schedule driven activity.
- Understanding Mechanical, Electrical and Fluid specifications for procuring equipment for install.
- Strong Mechanical experience for the ability to set, level and adjust large complex machinery.
- Schedule of manpower and understanding of overall schedule for large job completions.
- Understanding and strong utilization of MS Excel, Word, and PPT.
- Ability to use AutoCAD for drawing review, bid pack creation.
- Ability for business travel to company's other facilities for on-the-job training until the North Carolina plant is a functional site.
Bonus:
- Previous skilled trades experience a plus. (Ironworker / Millwright / Pipe Fitter)
- Experience with machine uncrate, installation, setting, leveling.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
