Finisher C - Finish Process Auditor

Position Profile

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the management of new sprayer certification training as well as auditing the complete finish process. The position requires advanced technical skills as well as proven leadership and interpersonal communication skills.

ties and Responsibilities:

  • Audit and train Sprayers to ASDOT standards daily
  • Monitor oversee and coordinate new sprayer training per MBCI certification program
  • Troubleshoot various finish process issues diagnosing root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Able to work overtime when needed.
  • Responsible for Audit data review to drive improvement projects.
  • Effectively manage Sprayer certification flow chart and sustainment plan
  • Responsible for communication with finishing leadership as directed.
  • Follow and support safety initiatives and assist in development of safety programs.
  • Maintain and promote positive attitude teamwork and cooperation.
  • Support Continuous Improvement by participating in and sustaining the MasterBrand Production System (MPS).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management
  • Data recording tracking and analysis using Excel and other related programs during audits.
  • Present information to plant and corporate management.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum 6 months in department preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year working at MBCI preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to spray proficiently in all booths applying all colors stains etc.
  • Successful completion of Sprayer Certification testing
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain production goals including flexible hours as required
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently exhibit MBCI s Five Traits of success
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and correct Sprayer procedure and technique as required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of paints stains sealers spray-guns and pots
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Ultracraft business system and effective analysis of rework and scrap reporting to improve.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accepted procedures for the safe and proper handling of hazardous chemicals and materials
  • Demonstrated ability to follow all established safety practices and procedures

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to wood dusts and cabinet-making related materials.
  • Exposure to hot and cold elements due to non-climate controlled environment.
  • Wearing of Personal Protection Equipment required: eye and ear protection.

  • Frequent change in torso/back position frequent stooping bending and twisting.
  • Frequent finger dexterity.

  • Frequent lifting pushing pulling reaching and carrying.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. and perform repetitive-motion tasks for the duration of working shift.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
